Horses, horses, horses!

We went horse trekking yesterday through the oh so fabulous beaches of the Catlins - rugged Southern coastlines that are just a leap away from the South Pole. Although reality dictated that I wear a helmet, jeans and boots; in my mind I was wild and free - barefoot and long haired with layers of lace flying behind me. No matter that I haven't had long hair for a year now, I've seen too many horseback goddess images to miss out on the opportunity to picture myself as one. Stevie Nicks fantasy anyone?
